Meeting invites no longer arrive as a cryptic attachment. Doota reads the invite and shows a clean card — date, time, place (with a Join button for Zoom, Meet, or Teams), who’s organizing, and who’s going. If you’re invited, three buttons — Yes, Maybe, No — let you respond without leaving your mail.

Doota sends the reply the way each service expects: Google and Outlook invites hand off to their own response flow, while Apple, Fastmail, and plain invites get a proper reply email to the organizer. Either way, only the organizer hears back, and your reply carries only your answer — never the guest list. Updates and cancellations keep the card in sync, and you’re never auto-RSVP’d.

A batch of tools for keeping on top of mail:

• Rules file incoming mail for you — label it, move it, star it, forward it, or mark it spam — and you can apply a new rule to mail you already have. See Organizing your mail.
• Pin the conversation you keep coming back to, so it stays at the top.
• Away replies answer new mail while you’re out, once per sender, on a schedule you set. See Away replies.
• Allowed & blocked senders let you decide, once, who always skips or always lands in Spam.

For developers, webhooks now POST signed event payloads (sent, delivered, bounced, complained, failed, and inbound-mail) to your systems — references only, never message content.

Attachments just got safer and easier. When you open a conversation, Doota now checks each file against known-dangerous patterns — right on your device, nothing uploaded — and shows a small badge: Checked, Threat found, or Couldn’t check. Risky or unverifiable files ask you to confirm before they open.

Most files now open in place, in a walled-off preview that can’t touch your account or the rest of the page: images, PDFs, text, audio and video, and a richer view for Office documents, spreadsheets, slideshows, markdown, and zips. Step through a message’s files with arrow keys, or grab the one you want with the download button — no more downloading blind just to take a look.

Doota now has service accounts — a mailbox your apps and scripts send as, over the API, with everything you need around it:

• Hosted templates. Build responsive emails in a visual WYSIWYG editor (headings, text, buttons, images, columns, a hero, a footer, and more), set default typography in the Theme panel, drop in {{ merge }} variables, and preview at desktop/mobile or send yourself a test. Send with just a template id + your data — Doota renders it.
• A send log. Every message sent through the API is recorded — when, to whom, and which key — right in the mailbox’s management view. Merge data is encrypted and auto-expires, so the audit trail stays without keeping a permanent copy of everyone’s personal details.
• Delegated management. Anyone you give manage access to a service account can create and revoke its keys and templates — no admin dashboard needed.
• A client SDK. A Resend-style client makes sending a one-liner: doota.emails.send({ to, templateId, data }).

Not ready to deal with something now? Snooze it. The conversation leaves your inbox and comes back — at the top — at a time you pick: later today, tomorrow, this weekend, or any exact date and time. You can also just type it (“in 2 days”, “next week”) or choose it on the calendar.

A reply always wakes a snoozed conversation early, so a reply never sits hidden. From the new Snoozed view you can reschedule a wake time or send a conversation back to your inbox right away.

The same quick picker — one-tap options, plain-language typing, or the calendar — now powers Schedule for later, and it’s tuned to work from phones up to large desktops.
